Leicestershire recognised SME are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller. This company is ideally looking for candidates who have current experience within a similar role, however they will consider candidates who have good broad finance experience and the drive / enthusiasm to manage a finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of the monthly management / financial accounts and monthly reporting
- Ensuring that year end accounts are prepared to agreed timetable in a form suitable for audit.
- Liaising with auditors and answering their questions in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Ensuring control of all bank accounts including foreign currency transactions
- Balance sheet accounts are reconciled to the nominal ledger on a monthly basis with schedules made available one week after the management accounts pack.
- Ensure that debt recovery is kept in focus
- Preparation of the fixed asset register
- Production of the annual budgets and cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheet forecasts.
Salary Basic £38,000 - £45,000 + Excellent benefits
