Hotel Financial Controller



Financial Controller required for a prestigious hotel based within the Leicestershire area. This is a number one position where you will oversee the finance function. Only candidates with Hotel finance experience will be considered.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare the Monthly Management Accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintenance of the balance sheet, posting monthly journals to include prepayments & accruals
  • Preparing & reviewing and maintaining budgets
  • Cashflow forecasts
  • Produce quarterly VAT returns
  • Produce monthly payroll including starters & Leavers
  • Payment runs.
  • Oversee the running of the purchase ledger and ensure all invoices are allocated to correct expenditure
  • Sales ledger, produce customer statements
  • Ensure all customers have been charged correctly & cash/credit card payments balance
  • Manage the petty cash

Salary £35,000 - £40,000 (possibly more for the right candidate ) + Excellent benefits
