We are recruiting exclusively for a Credit Controller within an international company based within the Ashby de La Zouch area. This is permanent, full time role within a rapidly expanding business. Our client is offering a salary of up to £21,500 to attract the very best candidates.

Purpose of the Role

The credit control department has responsibility for ensuring that the company’s debtors are collected in a timely manner and any non-payment risks are identified and resolved quickly.

As a Credit Controller your tasks will include

Liaising with our clients by telephone, letter and e-mail on payment of overdue invoices
Chasing outstanding debts
Maintain a running report on the status of all debts
Reducing aged debt and reconciliation of customer accounts
Cash and cheque allocation
Working with other teams within the business to ensure any late payments are eliminated
Assist when required in the processing of credit card payments

Candidate requirements

Have experience working within Credit Control
Able to build strong relationships
Strong communication skills
Good team player
Have a passion for delivering excellent customer service
