plc group based within the Ashby de la Zouch area is looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant.

Role:

To support the Head of Finance in production of management accounts, Group reporting and monthly reforecasting. The environment is busy, fast changing and will suit individuals looking to add to their own finance skills and add soft skills by supporting the decision makers in the business.

Duties:

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• 8 day reporting period including upload to Group reporting systems
• Quarterly VAT return
• P&L meetings with budget holders to explain financial implications and ensure cost controls are adhered to.
• Work with budget holders to update monthly plans that drive the forecasting process
• Run training sessions for both financial and non-financial staff

Person Spec:

• ACCA or CIMA Part Qualified
• Prepared to continue studies to qualification
• Study fees can be covered
• Salary band £25k-£30k dependant on experience
• Reporting to head of finance – description and duties attached
• VAT experience would be advantageous
• Other ad – hoc finance projects part of the role
• Working in a busy, dynamic environment in an established finance department
