We are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant within a UK recognised company based within the Derby area. This is a broad finance role where you will be managing a small team. Our client is offering a very competitive salary plus study support ACCA / CIMA to attract the best candidates.

Duties:

• Supervision of a small team together with providing assistance with the monthly management accounts, currently for 5 companies.
• Mentoring and supervision of staff.
• Maintaining the Fixed Assets schedules
• Preparation of monthly journals, to include prepayment and deferred income journals
• Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Control Accounts
• Preparation of ad hoc analysis
• Assisting with audit queries
• Assist with the implementation and adherence to controls set by the management

Salary £25,000 - £30,000 + Excellent Benefits
