Recognised employer based in the Leicestershire area are looking to recruit a CIMA/ACCA qualified / part qualified Financial Accountant to join their team. This a number two position where you will be reporting into the Director of Finance

Duties:

• To oversee the Group reporting requirements ensuring all deadlines are met in a timely manner.
• To prepare Management Accounts for the divisions
• To reconcile all Inter-company balances with Group.
• Staff management to include two Assistant Management Accountants.
• To produce four sets of annual statutory accounts.
• To ensure are clients financial procedures are adhered to and to ensure that financial/system training requirements are met and kept up-to-date.

Monitor, maintain & improve the timeliness & accuracy of all financial information originating from each site.

• To review control account reconciliations across the divisions.
• Assist commercial managers in preparation of annual/quarterly forecasts.
• To co-ordinate the preparation of insurance declarations liaising with Group insurance where applicable to assess the likely premiums.
• To support the internal audit department in conducting regular site audits

Other ad-hoc project work as required.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + benefits
